Yesterday I sent an email assuring parents that Thursday would be a "normal" day (no field trips or field day or testing scheduled). So what is normal?
Well, today, "normal" was lumbering around the carpet on all four appendages walking like an elephant, using our sense of smell to find "prey" (cherry scented pom poms) like lions, and eating goldfish using only our mouths like a giraffe. FYI: a giraffe's neck is not long enough to reach the ground, so it has to spread its front legs wide to drink or eat anything off the ground. We also weeded and picked tomatoes and radishes from our garden, washed our food and enjoyed a snack.
