Pre-K students experimented with a non-Newtonian fluid in class this week: Ooblek. It has the properties of a liquid (when at rest) and a solid (when in motion). The students seemed to have fun with it (even just watching for those who thought it was "too messy"). Enjoy the break and hug your children tight every day for me!

For the past week, the students have been earning pennies through kind actions or words. The students seem exctied to both earn and give pennies in class. The teachers, or other students, can tell a student to put a penny in their caring cup.
The students spent their pennies at the Holiday store buying items for themselves or other people. A huge thank you goes out to Ms. Stearns fifth grade students who helped the kids shop and wrap their presents! |
