Don't ask too many questions about what your child is doing in class for the next few weeks. Hopefully they are being "tight lipped" about what their little elf hands are creating for some VIPs. Even if they do spill the beans, I know you will be very excited to see what they have been working on for you!

Our most super students were able to light up the energy stick today during large group. Sometimes even a nose would light it up! A couple of times students had enough power to light it up through another super friend!
Students painted like Michelangelo this week under the chairs! They were pretending to be painting the Sistine Chapel. I will have the artwork displayed in the halls through November and then we will send it home early December.
To help emphasize the point that the hallway and bathroom walls and outside poles are covered in germs, our class conducted an experiment. Students "swabbed" these surfaces with a slice of bread and we watched germs grow on the bread. It has definitely made an impact on our behavior once the children could see the germs growing on the bread! Top: control
