We had a penguin STEMsday today! Students learned how oil helps their feathers repel water and how penguins move (hop, toboggan, and waddle). We also talked a little about the poles and then explored with magnets. I was having fun learning with the students, so I only caught a few pictures!
We celebrated 100 days of school today. The students made 100th day crowns with 10 strips of paper each containing 10 stickers/dots/pictures/stamps/tape squares ect. They also filled a 100 chart with small treats!
Although we don't have snow and ice in Savannah, we can still ice-skate! We listened to "Let it Go" during music with movement and worked on our gross motor skills by skating on paper plates.
