I'm going to sleep like a baby this weekend after the busy week we have had. I don't know if we had a "normal" day all week!
Thank you to Mrs. Hannah who taught us all about bees. We can't wait to go to her for specials next year. We also released our butterflies this week. All five butterflies are flying around Wilmington Island. We were able to send home 3 completed shirts on Friday. All of the shirts have been wrapped up and we will color the remainder of the shirts early next week. The STUDENTS gathered, rubber banded, and squirted color on the shirts. They will truly be a child made creation!

We read This is My Book before center time on Friday morning. It's a super fun story about a an author and illustrator who loses control of his book to a very lovable character he creates. At the end of the book, the author encourages readers to write their own book, and that is just what the kids did!
We found "everything" on our nature scavenger hunt today by working together! Technically, the "worm" may have been a centipede, but it was a better representation than the stick "worm" someone found! It was so fun to watch the students get excited about finding clouds and grass :) We found the "worm" under a rock. |
