The students started preparing our garden for planting this week. We should be ready to go by Friday.

We are in full St. Patrick's day mode this week and it's only Wednesday! The students have been making leprechaun traps (we will see if we catch any tomorrow), watching parades, and listening to bagpipes.
We are working hard building our shoulder and hand muscles in PreK. When students paint at the easel, draw on paper taped to the bottom of a table or work on a vertical surface, they are building the muscles they need to become better writers. Using manipulatives, play dough, and even playing with hot wheels helps to build hand strength and fine motor skills.
What a great week we had celebrating reading. The students learned about authors / illustrators, listened to guest readers, dressed up all week and ate lots of snacks! We finished our week eating green eggs and ham.
